# Quicklizard MCP for Claude

The Quicklizard MCP server connects Claude directly to your Quicklizard pricing platform. Once it is connected, you can ask Claude questions about your catalog, prices, strategies and performance in plain language, and Claude reads the answers straight from your live Quicklizard data.

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol — an open standard for connecting AI assistants to external systems. In Claude, an MCP server appears as a connector.

# What you can do with it

Ask questions like:

  • "How did my catalog perform last week compared to the week before?"
  • "Why is product 12345 priced at 49.90?"
  • "Which pricing strategies are assigned to my Electronics group?"
  • "Show me every price change on this product in the last 30 days, and who made them."

See Common Use Cases for a fuller list with example prompts.

# What it can and cannot do

The connector is read-only. Claude can look up and analyse your data, but it cannot change prices, edit strategies, or modify any configuration in Quicklizard.

It also respects your existing Quicklizard permissions. Claude sees exactly the accounts, product sets and channels that you can see when you log in to Quicklizard — no more. Two users at the same company can connect the same connector and get different results, because each is limited to their own scope.

# Setup is a two-step process

Claude separates provisioning a connector from using it, so setup involves two different people:

Who What they do How often
Claude organization owner (admin) Adds the Quicklizard connector to the organization so it appears for everyone Once per organization
Each user Connects their own Quicklizard account and approves the tools Once per user

Start with the guide that matches your role:

  • Admin Setup (One-Time) — for the Claude organization owner, adding the connector for the whole company.
  • User Setup — for everyone else, once the admin has added it.

Using Claude Pro or Max on your own?

If you are not part of a Claude Team or Enterprise organization, there is no separate admin step. Follow the Admin Setup guide to add the connector to your own account, then continue with User Setup to authenticate.

# Choose your region

Quicklizard runs separate US and EU environments. You must use the URL that matches the region your account is hosted in — connecting to the wrong region will fail at sign-in, because your user does not exist there.

Region Connector name MCP server URL
US Quicklizard US https://mcp.usecp.quicklizard.com/mcp
EU Quicklizard EU https://mcp.euca.quicklizard.com/mcp

Not sure which one you are on? Check the URL you use to log in to Quicklizard, or ask your Quicklizard contact. If your company has accounts in both regions, an admin can add both connectors — just keep the names distinct so users can tell them apart.

# Requirements

  • A Quicklizard user account with a verified email address and a password.
  • Claude on a plan that supports custom connectors — Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise.
  • For Team and Enterprise: only an organization owner can add the connector.
